Well, the free family photo session promotion is now full! We decided to cap the sessions at 12 which will be 4 per day over three different days and at three different locations. I am really looking forward to shooting these sessions. It will be fun!

We just sent out our first edition of the new Newsletter, Memories That Matter. I am going to try to send it out about once a month as long as there is enough new and fresh content. I enjoyed putting it together and so far, the feedback has been all positive. Look for future editions of Memories That Matter ....coming to an inbox near you!

Just got back from shooting Ashley & Ed Avery's wedding. It was a really great time! It was an outdoor wedding and reception and the rain held off until the ceremony was over and everyone was under the tent. I'll have some photos up in a few days.

For all of you in our local area, we will be giving away FREE half-hour family photo sessions for a limited time to everyone that contacts us with the "secret" word (hint: it's the third word in the phrase directly under "Eddie Webber Photography" on the home page of our web site). Think Christmas gifts! These sessions will be by appointment only and will be limited to selected locations in Polk County.

Okay, I've been away for a while but now it's time to get back to the blogosphere! I'm trying to think of a new photography promotion to implement. Maybe a discount for a family photo session or something like that. More to come.....

We are getting ready to go on vacation to north Alabama. It is so peaceful up there...I just love it! I am sure I will take lots of pictures (it's what I do) so I'll be sure to post some when I get back.

Michael Jackson

It's hard to believe Michael Jackson is dead. He was only a year older than me! I enjoyed his early music from the Jackson 5 days and even what he did solo in the eighties. Once again we see that we never know what's around the corner or as Benjamin Buttons said: "You never know what's comin' for you!"
For me, it's a time to reflect on what is truly important in life.
Below is a picture I did at Christmas of my beautiful Granddaughter, Lydia. She is my pride and Joy!

Here is a picture I did of my daughter Sabrina at her bridal shoot in 2004. It was at Hollis Gardens in Lakeland, FL. This was the first one like this but I have done a few more since then. Enjoy!

Okay, my new web site is finally done and up!!
I've been working on this for what seems like forever but it's done and I am very happy with it. Although I will be continually adding to it and tweaking it, so......I guess it's not done after all :(
Oh well, I'm still excited about it! Check it out here and give me some feedback. All will be appreciated.
Have a great day!

New Beginnings

I have resisted for some time the encouragement to begin this process but now find myself thinking "just do it!" And so here begins the random thoughts of Eddie Webber: a husband, a father, a photographer, a musician, an IT professional, a conservative, and a Christian....not neccessarily in that order.
I will try not to bore you but will say what's on my mind and give you a sampling of my photography as I feel is appropriate.
Please don't expect too much, but enjoy what you find reasonable to do so.
